At UCS, our goal is to help support the development and production of your product. We offer both design and prototyping, as well as specialty production and manufacturing. Each client's work is project specific. The development process features some or all of these processes: client meeting and detailing goals and scope of the project. Then sketch ups of designs the direction forward. With approval of a specific sketch and more specific details, we continue design development, and material and fabric sourcing, to begin prototyping. With prototyping, typically it takes a couple of prototypes, to get to a good place, beginning with a mid fidelity and then a high fidelity prototype. We are experts at rapid prototyping and making changes on the fly.

Simultaneously, we typically also begin technical pack and specifications for the product to coincide with its development and eventual manufacturing. Once the prototyping process has come to fruition, product testing will continue in order to prove out the product. With that we can make samples and do local production, or price out with one of our partner factories overseas for manufacturing. We also can retrofit and improve existing products, and utilize only technical packs and CAD to support manufacturing sourcing. The client also has the option to utilize their prototype(s), sample(s), and tech pack, etc., and source their own manufacturing.

We are happy to assist clients in any way that we can. We are adept at all types of products, including hybrid, hard goods- soft goods, inventions, gear, apparel, bags, and anything that involves sewing.
